Product Information
Item is a reproduction of a antique ships transom carving. American Eagles are the symbol of our country and figured constantly in colonial art. We are proud of this as an outstanding example of fine craftmanship. The carving is 47 inches wide and 15 inches high. Made of lightweight polyurethane molding foam, hand painted and distressed to look like old wood. This eagle is clutching a flag in his feet and a blue ribbon in its mouth. Across the ribbon reads "LIVE AND LET LIVE". The flag is red, white, and blue. The wings are gold and the head and tailfeathers are white. Perfect nautical decoration for a bar, rec room or seafood restaurant. OK for outdoors, too with an additional coat of outdoor varnish.
